Description
This plate made of strong nylon PA12 in black, which will allow you to use your A10tx and A20tx as a plug on transmitter, without the inconvenient (for some, me included) need to attach to the boom pole or to use two quick releases on top of each other.
The one plate is compatible with both A10 and A20 transmitters so you won’t have to buy a different one when you upgrade from one to the other.
You can buy the plate on its own and make the cable yourself or I can make you one, or you can get someone else to make it.
I strongly recommend using the Neutrik NC3FX-SPEC which is a very solid locking ring solution (unlike the EMC-SPEC version, which has known issues of not locking properly). I can supply the cable fitted with the Sound Devices A-Filter PCB board on request if you order it here.
You can also use a XX series normal XLR (or EMC) but in my experience the lack of locking collar might allow the pins to move ever so slightly to create noise.
The winged bolt is supplied by Radius windshield, thank you Simon! I was fiddling with their XLR holder and thought, hold on a minute, this is perfect for my plug on plate!
